Loving Life

Why not love life,
Put down all that guilt, denial and strife.

Live life to the fullness of your potential
Unless positive, keep your results confidential.

Man I’m living large, not on money, cars or stuff
My success, gratitude, self respect is enough

With you or without you I’m gonna make it
Victory lives here, stay away if you can’t take it

I don’t need you in order to be me
I’ll rise to the top at all cost and any degree

Cause I’m loving life, don’t you see.
I’m out to be, all I CAN be.

I smell the air and kiss the ground,
Then pray to God I stay around.

Try to be good so I don’t get lock-up,
Loestrin, so’s not to get knocked up.

Tomorrow’s not promised and I see why,
Some can’t handle today without an alibi.

I’m not going there, need to say focused
This aint not magic act, no wands, no hocus pocus.

I’m loving life, cause it’s all I really got
This is reality not a vacation spot.

The time will come and I’ll get the call
The O-bit will read.....She gave it her all.

The Last Supper

The Last Supper ©

Carla had been married for eight years, when her husband died.
It was a tragic situation, where Carla had been a stay at home mom with their twelve year old son at that time. She was lost when he died and had to become familiar with running the household, making ends meet and socializing as a single parent.
Remarkably her husband had left them in a good financial position and she was able to work part time and be at home for her son Matt in the late afternoons. So that left her room to devote for social development.

Carla and her husband had been members of their church even before being married and she found comfort there in a single’s ministry they offered. They had their own circle of friends that they socialized with, and didn’t much go outside their community.

By the time Matt was fourteen it was apparent that he had skills in soccer. He played on his schools team as well as his church team. The church had formed a team based on Matt’s abilities and had assigned one of the youth minister’s to coach the boys. They played a game at least every month, and would practice every Saturday. The boys would arrive at church early and stay just before dinner. The church had gotten to the number two position for their state.
Matt was starting to pull some recognition from various outside sports fans and the local media. This attention was becoming overwhelming, however he managed to keep his grades up enough to maintain honor roll.

The summer he turned sixteen, his pastor had recommend him for youth counselor at the summer camp. Matt was glad to do it. He was given the sole responsibility of planning and setting up the sports event programs. He ran the sports camp efficiently each summer for the next two years.
Carla met Frank from church and re-married in the spring.

Matt applied to college out-of-state, but his mother didn’t approve. She tried everything to try to get him to stay. But all it did was dig up some ugly secrets. Carla was persistent and for weeks they argued about it. Frank, Carla’s husband, was a kind God loving man and would stay clear of any negativity that he felt he had no control over.

One evening to try to smooth things over, Matt brought his mother some flowers and ordered take out from her favorite spot so she could relax.

“Let us pray and give thanks.” He said, then he poured her a glass of her favorite wine.

They were half way through when the nagging started back up.

“Matt I’ve done a lot for you and I need for you to stay here with me.”

“This was my only chance mom to get out of this place and perhaps try to make a change for myself. I wanted to try and put this behind me. I was afraid that if I stayed here I wouldn’t be able to let this go. But you just couldn’t leave things alone.”

“What do you mean?” Carla asked.

“Forget it, it’s too late now,” Said Matt.

“Well I won’t let you go; I won’t pay for your tuition if you do go,” shouted Carla.

In a sad but firm voice Matt said, “Yes mom some how I knew that you wouldn’t, but it’ll be alright.”

“How, you don’t have a job and out-of-state tuition is costly,” said Carla.

“Yes but betrayal is free, you should know,” Matt said firmly.

Carla responded, “Matt what are you talking about?”

“How was dinner mom, did you enjoy it? Aren’t the flowers beautiful? Almost as beautiful as you are mom,” Matt said with pledging eyes.

“We’re not talking about flowers Matt.”

“Oh right. Sorry. I just thought you’d like these, they were your favorites.” You see mom, the reason I had become so good at soccer is because I had to throw myself into something to try to stop all the nightmares.”

“Nightmares, I thought you just grew out of them.”

“No, I hid in them, because I couldn’t escape from them. Each night over and over it would play back. The wine, the candles, the flowers, my father’s laughter, and then the special delivery from Minister Frey’s carry out. I’d often wondered why he would be making the delivery himself. Having his own restaurant and all. Forget it I thought, business must be busy. After my father died, it took awhile for things to get back to normal, and even seemed to get better once you’d started to date Frank. Minister Frey was down right happy and hysterical for you. Why, I wondered.”

“Matt stop it,” cried Carla.
Carla walked away with a very worried look. Matt followed her into the other room.

“I caught on one day at one of our church games where you disappeared for awhile and when you came back you had on a choir top. When I asked you about it you said you’d spilled something on your blouse. I believed you until at camp one day little Daniel was telling the story of how he’d seen you and Minister Frey fighting in the church office and he tore your blouse open. He said that minister Frey must have been sorry because he started to kiss you on the neck. I knew for sure then. Mom how could you?”
“Minister Frey is married and so were you. Both respected members of the church. It was bad enough to do what you did, but you had to take it further by fooling around in God’s house?
I’d nearly lost my respect for you. Then it came to me one day while looking for my birth certificate in some of your boxed papers, just how much love you had for my father. It took me awhile but after reading some very important documents you had in there, I’d determined that you deserved the same level of respect you gave him.”

“Matt let me explain?” Carla said as she ran towards Matt.

“Frank went out of town right?” Pasting the floor.

“That’s right”, as Carla looked away.

“Wrong, he moved out mom because he found out about you and minister Frey’s affair.”

Carla sat down on the sofa and began to look as if she was trying to work a puzzle in her mind.

“I know all about it. I also know that this puts a dapper on your future plans to suck Frank dry like you did dad. No time to waste huh ma? Gotta tackle that insurance instead.”

“Matt what have you done?”

“Me? No no no, you killed my father for money and sex, so I think the question would be what doth thy. See you failed to get the word to Minister Frey that Frank left. So he thinks the plans are still on. All I did was move up the date. I called him and told him that we finally made up and that you told me to give him the OK and to order the Passover to go. I saw the note in your box. You used The Lord to deceive my dad.”

“Matt”, she said with tearful eyes.

“Oh its OK mother. Remember the doctor’s death certificate said that dad died an almost painless food poisoning death. I had the same respect for you.”

Unable to get up, Carla looked at the clock as it chimed three times.

Matt walked over to his mother and with a warm kiss on the cheek, Matt said to her;
“I will always remember you, enjoy your dinner mother, it’s your last.”

I have An Idea.......

I have been associated with many many home businesses.
To name a few –Pre-Paid Legal, VM Direct, Global Travel, Cruise to Cash, Magnum IQ. As well as some well established businesses like - Avon, & Mary Kay. I also dabbled in vending machines and some online affiliate marketing like giving away vacation vouchers.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not lazy by any means but it takes work to master a business. The only one that guaranteed and paid a return was Avon, however small.
It’s just tedious work; you have to pass out all these books, then take and place orders, & maintain the site. Then when the order comes in, everything is all over the place in these small boxes, and you have to match the product with each person’s order and place in individual bags, tag, deliver and TRY to collect your money. By the way- you also have to order and pay for your own supplies, like samples, bags, books, etc. Man, can I get a break? After all that, most times I spent my $12 back on their products.
I’m not saying those other businesses wouldn’t have worked, but believe me when they said it takes money to make money. Yes it takes money alright. Lots! Marketing is a kick ass, or shall I say… a kick buck! It kicked mine until it died. First you’ve got to put up the money to join the business, and then you’ve got to advertise it. Some even require you to go to weekly, and/or monthly meetings and drag a potential sucker, I mean partner with you. Oh and what about those that offer support. That’s a joke. I personally experienced those so called supporters who called me daily to feed me all their business gab and then as soon as I joined and paid them my money--- the calls stop. I’m done.
In my years of experiencing all this, I’ve discover the best business is Your Own. What I mean by that is – your own idea or concept. This way—you make your own rules and financial statement. Now you’ve still got to advertise, but at least you’re not buying into somebody else’s idea nor are you paying just to spend time and gas on meetings that go over that same dam silt over and over each time.!!! “Shut up already”.
If you’re going to start a business, stop and think. ((( pause ))), think about something that you’re good at and enjoy. ---wait a minute---I mean legal and with your clothes on. Get a name for your business and brand it. Prepare your own marketing tools like business cards, flyers, etc. You know those family members who wouldn’t even answer your phone calls anymore because they knew you had another one of those “businesses in a box” to throw at them…..well family tend to support you when – It’s Yours. They take pride in believing that success runs in the family when you create something new.
So for years and I do mean years, I’ve been exploring the idea of writing. Well you know what; I’m just going to do it. Yes I’m going to write. So get ready, but I must warn you that I’m going to put a lot of me in there. Naturally because I just told you to do what you know, right? Well Rea knows Rea.
Stay in touch and follow as I jump in with what I got. Float or Dope, I’m going to do it.

What's The Plan?

So what’s the plan?
Don’t be afraid to dream. Nothing happens without first the dream.
Ask yourself the question that has been asked over and over again for years…..
Where do you see yourself in five years? Or better yet, where were you five years ago. If all your answers are the same…………….
Change your Thoughts, Change your Life.
It’s not Chance, but Choice- that determines your destiny. Your Choices are just a thought, a dream away. Close your eyes…..and visualize. Don’t you see it?
Can you believe a better life for yourself and your family?
“The only things that stand between a person and what they want in life, are the Will to try it, and the Faith to Believe it’s possible”
So what’s the plan?
If Martin Luther King had acted on his fears of what others thought, would we still be segregated by Black-White, Yours-Mine?
Albert Einstein- Dominated science by merely thinking about it.
Steven Spielberg- The most powerful filmmaker in the world, Why? He dared to think outside the box.
And what about Walt Disney- He was labeled a failure because one of his teachers told him he wasn’t creative enough. Oh give me a break! He built an empire around a mouse for goodness sake.
So what’s the Plan?
I challenge you to look in the mirror every day and ask yourself, “what have I done today to add value to my life-tomorrow?”
“Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there”
Implement a plan for your life. Don’t be afraid to dream and live that dream.
Don’t put off today, what you’ve been putting off all those yesterdays.
Or your yesterday, will continue to be your tomorrow.

Me, Myself & I

Run for your life, it’s started.
What? The Transformation!!
What transformation?
I have started to change my life, by changing my mind.
I’ve decided that --- I don’t want to be on that lower end anymore.
Are you talking to me?
No, I’m talking to myself. The self that wants and knows there’s a
better way.
If you’ve tuned in and are listening that’s fine, but just know that I
needed to sit myself down and make me understand that nobody was going to help me- but Me, nobody cared more for me- than Me, nobody had the dreams and desire that I had for me- but Me, and believe Me, nobody’s going to reap those benefits better than me, but ME!
Benefits, what benefits?
The benefits that comes with change. If you don’t change what you’re doing today, how do you expect different results tomorrow? The benefit of financial freedom, Peace of mind, and the joy of networking with like minded individuals who also want more for themselves and their families.
So see the transformation was a given. It had to happen. Otherwise there would be no change and I would continue to walk and live in that old life that my mind created years ago.
Me thought about this years ago. Myself tried to make some adjustments. But it was I that got sick and tired and made the sacrifice to implement the change.
I could do that because me had a relationship with myself and I would listen.
So again, if you’ve tuned in, and want more for yourself, talk to Yourself. Be open minded. You’ll listen if and when you say the right thing.
Just know that there is no better day than Today.
Get yourself with others who are making the change.
I’ll help you.

Entrepreneurs...The Time Is NOW

The time is now, no second to waste.
Got to make it big, … got expensive taste.
Do you want to eat, wanna even drive,
Better get on board, about to change some lives.
Been working most my life, since about fourteen,
But I’m about to explode right on the scene.
I’m tired of being poor, living day by day,
I’m middle class, that’s what the government say.
I can’t even pay---all of my bills,
Not in one month, not without some skills.
But see my dreams, and goals are higher,
Don’t put any hope in that ole 9 to 5er.
My bank deposits read…”No Activity,
And heck they already took my social security.
Years I’ve been but one check from in the hole,
So now it’s up to me to take Full control.
While surfing the net and purely accidentally,
I found this great- new business opportunity.
If you’re like me a true Entrepreneur
Then ask yourself this question..what you waiting f o r.
No more excuses, no future delay,

Just Getting Started

WOW! I am so excited. I'm been a struggling entrepreneur for years now and have always believed in "The Outside Box". I know I'm special and it takes a higher sphere to satisfy those needs.
